Situated in the former Royal Mail Sorting Office and Marco Island’s multi-story carpark, the 14,000 sqft complex now plays host to amateur and professional esports tournaments, and showcases Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies expertise in live events, content creation, streaming and competitive gaming.
Unrecognisable now, the new state-of-the-art facility plays host to a 100-seater esports venue on the ground floor, with a double-height social space, player warm-up rooms and technical studios on the first floor.
Working alongside Nottingham-based Architects, Allan Joyce and acoustic specialists, White Mark Ltd, Constellations has designed and manufactured bespoke acoustic panelling, individual player-pods, a contemporary servery and café style seating in the lofty social space. Behind the scenes, bespoke furniture made to enclose each individual piece of specialist esports production equipment within the warm-up areas, Broadcast Studio and Production Gallery, compliment the striking aesthetic of the building’s interior.
